We launched our inaugural Progressive Leadership Summit on 20 March, in recognition of our sixth birthday.
The event, held at Glean’s office in Leeds, attracted dozens of local and national business leaders, HR personnel and operations staff.
They attended to celebrate our impact over the past 12 months and learn how progressive leaders can drive the development of positive workplace cultures.

- Alicia Collinson, Senior Associate Solicitor at Thrive, reflected on these achievements, highlighting the fact that we’ve advised our HR clients for almost 500 hours and carried out 350 free 15-minute consultations.
- Jodie Hill, Founder and Managing Partner, looked forward to the next 12 months, highlighting the significant employment law changes on the horizon and the need to update policies to reflect and build on the changes.
- Helen Oldham, Co-Founder of Lifted Ventures, explained what makes a progressive leader and highlighted the work of her own organisation to elevate female founders as a means of making ED&I progress in the investment space.
- Claire Boorman, Co-Founder and Director at Boxclever; Jen Driver, Client Services Director at Zeal; and Chrissie Leahy, Chief Operating Officer at Glean joined Helen for the panel discussion on the development of positive workplace cultures.
